FishCAST is committed to building and sustaining an equitable approach to Indigenous student recruitment and retention.

Financial Support

To realize our Indigenous Recruitment goals, FishCAST Administration has set aside funds to be allocated to Indigenous trainees applying to the program. This scholarship ensures that successful applicants would be allocated the full $17,500 per year (2 years, MSc) or $21,000 / yr. (3 years, PhD) from the FishCAST student-stipend budget line.
